Utar Ball 2010 - Verziere

It is already my last year or to be exact last semester in university and normally those graduating students would attend such event. Ball night is what they called and for my personally point of view, I rather labeled it as portrait night. Everyone paid hundreds for their dress to kill and to be as good looking as they could for that particular hours. Out of sudden, I felt that there are such crowd of fine beast appeared out of nowhere from the university.

It makes this event kinda grand by having our night in the Palace of the Golden Horses - one of the well known high class hotel in Malaysia. Even the ambiance of that ball room and the architecture monuments could immerse into ones deep admiration. There is only one thing that made it incomplete, the food served are awfully low budget.

The night is all about pictures of humans and sapiens. There are more photos available in my facebook account. Do freely check it out if you are interested.

I hardly get my hands dirty to dress that smart. I wondered, when will be the next? :p

Gathering of my primary school mates - my personal "lab rats"

When you are just a noobie to the camera world, all you need are just some guinea pigs in order polish up your skills. How could I say no during the Chinese New Year when almost all my primary mates are in town to meet up. They would more than happy to pose when there are at least 3 dlsr camera pointing to them like a celebrity, capturing their pretties and ugliest moment.

Most of them are very single and available. Too bad la they couldn't still find any partner because of their over enthusiasm on achieving their goals in life. There are future pharmacist, future dentist and ect. Simply say, another "nerd herd" gathering. (They would too busy to find out this. LOL)

Anyone there volunteer to be my next experiment subjects?

Papa John & the mansion

Traditionally each year of chinese new year, I will be meeting up with this gang of hometown friends. I think it has been going since I was in my upper secondary life. They still remain the same. As I meant the same style, the same mentality about way of life. They are still so "nerd herds" and can't imagine when they will start growing up and "pattoh"
(I going to be grilled if they found out this)

The largest Jusco in Malacca seem promising, offering lot choices of food restaurant. Papa John is what they have chosen because they too sucks in deciding thing and fast food is a wise choice. At least now I have something to compare to the pizza dominance - Pizza Hut.

The food is satisfactory for my personal opinion because I am not those going into dough making type of food. At least, they are way tastier than pizza hut can offer and of course pay extra for these services.

We ended our whole night doing some serious business in one of the tycoon son's mansion. He is still single and very available with good looks as well. (email me if you are interested :x) Each year, I will be ended up losing money because I am not blessed with luck. The table is less filled each as everyone is graduating and some already busy with their new working life. I wondered, how many chairs will be occupied next year.

Chinese New Year 2010 - wohoo with family

At age of 23++, getting ang pau from the elders especially from some strangers are getting embarrassing. It gives me the creep feel like as old as I am are still desperate and leaching money from them. Although I do admit, money is tempting enough but dignity is way above that.

That is my reunion dinner, having our very home made "lok lok". Maybe in future, I will own my satay celup house if I ended jobless when I graduated. By that time I might as famous as the Capitol satay.

Chinese New Year is almost about family reunion, hence I always ended up in the big crowd of the family. I think I had more than 20++ cousins and I do not even remember their whole name. My grandmother is well blessed with 12 childrens. What to do.

Besides ang pau, this is the best entertainment during Chinese New Year. Although I do not have the luck of winning but losing is still something enjoyable. I bet you do succumb into these devilish excitation of... Banglat?

After and after considering splashing large sum of money investing this interest on photography, finally I convince myself to buy a dslr camera. Yes, now I proudly own a entry level dslr camera - D5000. Till now I do not regret buying a dslr camera but I did feel wasted that I should get D90 because now I realize how expensive the lens of D5000 would cause me.

Here are all my debut entry photos. It really a very noob shot. In learning, I promise, I will strive for greater results. So I would cherish every valuable comments especially on this particular aspect.

A breath of new beginning

Fong Keow Bak Kut Teh - Klang

Finally I had a taste on the so-damn-bloody-famous Bak Kut Teh in Klang. If not mistaken from what I have heard of, there are few restaurant which proclaimed by the natives of Klang provides the best pot of pork herbs in Malaysia.

Fong Keow is the 1st I have tried so far, so I have to based on this shop to set on the standards of Bak Kut Teh in Klang. So far, everything is almost similar which I had in Malacca for over more than 20 years.

Not until this pot of Bak Kut Teh came out. To be surprised, the soup or more likely the gravy is so thick as though it taste like a XO version of Bak Kut Teh. In Malacca, the soup is usually very mild compared to this. However the herb is well balanced with all those ingredient mixed inside evenly. But still, for a 1st timer, it was my pot of soup. I am too used to the mild type of Bak Kut Teh I had in Malacca. This proved to be too damage to me but I liked the smell and taste of the gravy. It made that bowl of white rice to be very tasty. 1 thing I noticed so far, in KL I hardly could find any places which provide yam rice. It is?

Ichiban Boshi - Pavilion

Each time walked past the food court of Pavilion, this restaurant had not failed to pull the crowd to witness its Japanese chef to demonstrate the preparation of their hand made Soba. Each time, the crowd would be amazed by the fine craft work of dough kneading skills. It's totally a new thing compared to Ramen.

The sushi conveyor is enough to cater around to supply the huge demand of this restaurant. One would feel classy upon sitting down and start pondering the price of each plate of sushi. No doubt, for such smooth feeling and to be surrounded by nice food, one has to pay high price for it. Each plate of sushi is either RM4 or RM6 per plate, higher than those usual Sushi King that we patronized. However, high price always come in with excellent quality of food. The raw salmon or other ingredient or fresh and much thicker than the norm.

Drool if you can after witnessing the awesomeness of the salmon and tuna sushi. This bowl of beef soba is called double niku soba which worth for every penny spent. The pungent smell of the beef is cleverly removed but the sweetness remains.

Seiro is the Soba (mee kosong) I ordered because it is well recommended in the menu. Through this, I was able to taste the soya mee in whole and it's really satisfying. A try you must. This dumpling gyoza is another example and reason this restaurant is going to be very successful in future.

Rot at rootz

The delusional happiness during clubbing is always short lived. The devil's call tempted ones into his demonic den in the name of celebrating Zhen Shi's birthday. The weak mind of mine succumbed into this satanic's scheme where this party at Rootz with liquor replaced with water.

Rootz is located at above lot 10 building and nominated as new best club of the year of 2009. This is the sole reason for us to choose for this club. (You knowla, all noobie ma) To our surprise, the club is almost empty when we arrived at 11.00pm and it was totally a turn down.

The ambience of the club was awesome along with the royal metal class decoration. The lighting music and Dj were nothing less compared to Zouk but the only thing they were lacking is the crowd and a dance floor. However, the people started to pack during 1.00 am. Most of them dressed smart and classy. It makes us odd man out, become one of the youngest group in the crowd.

Too much consumption of alcohol loses our sense of judgment. When the rationality of a human is gone, they are non differ of a beast in the jungle, letting the body took control our his mind. That's is when you can see people start shaking like nobody business.

A last year at uni's life to celebrate for a very very old friend since primary school. New experience gained during this outing and I finally understood and felt what is the border of being tipsy and drunk!

Dragon-I with primary mates

After being separated for more than 1 decade, some of we, the primary mates were able to meet up thank to the magical touch of facebook. The few active ones staying near to each other have to compromise me by traveling to city centre for this little gathering. As to redeem the guilt of causing them this trouble, I reached Pavillion on this 1st date however during this aupicious 1st meeting, they were not punctual at all. LOL

We headed for Dragon-I restaurant to try on their famous "xiao long pau".

Before we eat, there are always some people busying taking photos of the food. As you know, blogger ma~~

The ramen is good however the "xiao long pau" is exceptional tasty and juicy. Serious anyone that had not try it need to go for a trip! And remember, the rice is no-no among all the food menu.

We chatted the whole night about the silly stories that unimaginable being done when we were kids. It really hilarous and unbelievable especially things that they highlighted during our younger days. We gossiped and time really flies. Hope there are more de-stress outing like this to come by. Thanks guy!

Tenji - Housemate's Engagement Day

Upon reading this header for this post, one should be prompting hundreds of questions pondering how old my housemate is. To be frank, he is only 23 and the bitter truth is, he is even younger than I am. While I am still struggling deciding on my future, he is already planning big for a family. Damn!

Since Tenji is one of the Japanese buffet restaurants that offers different promotions all year long (promotion is just a tactic to lure customers to believe thing that they wanted), he had chosen it to be a memoriable spot to clip off his wings. How come buffet always come first in mind to celebrate any special occasion?

Let the pictures do the talking.

This guy is a really a glutton. When he settles down for food, it seems nothing could hinder or distracting him from consuming its meal in front of him.

I had been here for once, last year, and for this trip it seem they had fairly improved their quality and variety of food. Japanese gourmet is always my personal best choice of food because I simply cant resist the temptation of salmon or tuna sashimi. This fresh raw salmon and tuna are simply too expensive for a poor student. Hence, buffet once in a blue moon is the only solution to satisfy this urge.

I think I had 10 fresh oysters, 3 plates of salmon sashimi and etc. The ambiance is nice, the food is well decorate and importantly, the haagen dazs's ice cream had upgraded. What more can you ask for.

Still, the main characters of that night is both of these sweet couple.

Congrats, and hope I could attend your wedding in few years time. Of course, for freeeeeeee!! =]

UTAR - my choice

Since I am graduating soon, I should at least contribute or repay back something to this fabulous varsity which I enrolled for 4 years.

UTAR's canteen always remind us to appreciate the food we are having. It is like if you are always having delicious meal, you would forgotten what the taste of atrocious food. So when you stayed long enough in campus, you would miss all those food back to your hometown.

UTAR is a best place to cultivate the interest of being a book worm. There isn't any other entertainment or sport facilities besides a tiny small library or education purposes only. Hence, it would be very competitive there where everyone will be swallowing notes and books. The only price to pay is that after 4 years, you might turned to some geek.

UTAR is the good place to produce a good leader if you ever hold up any position in societies and clubs. Due to its tedious procedure in apply for projects and activities, it makes us well prepare for the turbulence world. It made us strong to accept rejects and do it over again and the most challenging part is that what ever activities held in the campus, it is hard to win over the heart of the students to cooperate.

UTAR is wonderful place to train up well to handle stress. Just a quarter semester, tests and assignments are pouring weeks by weeks till the final exams. The worst case is that the work load is piling accumulated semester by semester. Therefore, by the beginning of final year in university, you would be immune to most of the stresses.

UTAR is a suitable place to practice on any hand on experiments. Until the final year, you will able to be independent on doing the project yourself. Even components that as small as a resister, they are reluctant to give it away. This teaches you how to shop and don't mind the trouble to travel every time you needed urgently.

Chiao Han's 24th birthday at Zouk

Living up till 24 year old, I bet this is his best and the most happening birthday celebration. Out of the midst in sudden, everyone rounded up their mind to had this birthday bash for him at Zouk, KL.

After staying more than 3 years in KL, sadly I have to admit that I still virgin to any bar or experience any unhealthy night life until that day. The most I did was lingering around the club, pondering what the actual stuff spinning inside. That is where blogs came into place, trying to figure out what is so addictive that made people spend hundreds of penny for that particular few hours.

Nor blogs, nor photos or any explanations would ever satisfy the thirst of curiosity. Till that day, I witnessed the horror combination of alcohol and high beat musics made the worst chemistry of reaction you can ever imagined. It is only lies if one does club but proclaimed that they do not drink and dance. Just a little consumption of alcohol as catalyst, one would already being swayed by the music rhythm of drowning ecstasy.

After few shots of liquor, one would be hanging in between the sight split of reality and fantasy. It is crystal clear conscious in mind but the body is not listening to order anymore. Even a demure self is able to have the courage to express themselves through body language. The more you shake, the more intense of delusion.

Being tipsy that night made me understand the theory of fantasizing. Everything seem enlightened and stuck in self-created virtual world. The feeling of rapture did not hinder the urge of having more drink although the mind kept reminding it to pause.

Yes, we enjoyed. We laughed like there isn't any worries for tomorrow and we thought we are temporarily congregated in this dark paradise. This is the only perfect moment of 1 Malaysia's concept being implemented without the biasing of race, age or gender. Who cares you are a Chinese, Malay, Indian, Caucasian or even Black. There is only 1 thing in mind - our head is spinning to dance.

Clubbing is always fun if and only provided you have the enough loot to enjoy. It just like a fast way track, enjoy 1st suffer later. This is what happened if you are over enjoying.

My final semester is going to start soon and after attending a soft skill class about "presentation & communication skill", I started to ponder what is life after university. In fact, during my internship in one of the big manufacturing company makes me feel reluctant to head back to that boring working environment. I can't imagine living my life colourless staring either the computer or the machine all day long. Others what I have observed might but is a definitely no-no for me.

Thus, thousand and one thought have been flowing in and out of my mind and any wrong step taken, it would be fatal. Speaking of getting jobs. The 1st thing that come the most important in play is interview. During the soft skill class, we manage to expose ourselves into situations of difficult questionnaires being bombarded for the interview training.

Have you started to get prepared? If not, please to attend some of the soft skill classes to improve the knowledge outside of the book.

Singapore trip

The new chapter of the year has just begun and we welcomed 2010 with our open arms. This year is where the caterpillar me will be morphing into some either beautiful or ugly butterfly. I guess after living for about a quarter of decade, this stage of life has the toughest go through obstacles.

Nevertheless, during the month of December where I spent most of my time in a foreign country, Singapore. Visited the lab of National University of Singapore and the most amazing part of it is every final year project group has their own laboratory. They had unlimited support from their university to perform their desired project. Looking into my side, it would be a little regretful. There is always a reason why some loved to mingle around the lab and cultivate the interest for the lifeless machinery while some hated it so much which it would bored them to death.

Singapore is a shopping paradise. Girls, yes girls would never less happy than others when walking in the streets of orchard. Malls after malls where you could witness the massive of woman choosing their items where the men standing motionless outside the shop patiently waiting for their other half. Of course, I am in the team, otherwise I have no chance to have this wonderous observations.

This place where I had my best desert located in the Bugis street. Even the ones that being told the best in Hong Kong that I have tasted nothing come near to this. From what I have seen, this Ah Chew Desserts shop received the best food award in 2008 if not mistaken.

The queue is very long for ordering and the tables are always occupied. This bowl of mango sago I had is a blast. The chilling sweetness makes you forget everything. When you are in Singapore, this is the place you must try on.

Broga Hill

I bet not much of you guys have heard about such hill called Broga hill. I have only get to know it when I came across some beautiful photos through reading on this book, facebook. Thus, I have set my sight on conquering this tiny little hill located at Semengih.

The road climbing isn't as tough as I thought but due to the lack of physical training, it makes it harder especially the 1st stop. After that, the 4 more slopes shouldn't be any hindrance anymore.

It surprisingly to witness the sun rise in a whole "blue" picture. We were waiting in mind for the slow tanning red orange to pierce through the thick cloud and ready for a good capture. There are 3 dslrs' users waiting for that moment however, disappointed.

The scenery on the zenith of the hill is truly magnificently breathtaking. Pictures do not always speak of the truth, so the only way to experience it is to take a little hike up there to feel the beauty of mother nature.

The meadow across the hill touches the whole canvas to life. It was like those fairy tale we seen in the movie. Even, the thick sea of cloud made the other side of the hill looks like there is an isle in the middle of an ocean. Heavenly mesmerizing.

In the month of Dec, that is where it begins to chill. Christmas is just coming around the corner and many would much anticipated of getting surprise presents from family or friends. I am just a simple guy who loves to make things easy for them. Simply, I made a wish list of items I desired however failed to obtain with my own capabilities. Hopefully, the generosity of the readers' heart could at least make some contribution here. I never meant to be greedy, but just being honest. :P

1. Dell Studio XPS 16

My first mate had already followed me though the journey of my uni-life since the beginning of the 1st semester. It starting to age and giving slow response to my command and worst still, she could even pleasure me anymore when I needed her the most. This RM4999 with the processor of core i7 could definitely satisfy most of the demands for the next 4 years.

Bah! I don't think anyone would willingly to fork out this much :(

2. Taiwan

Can't believe your own eyes that this place could actually be such mesmerizing? I have been longing to be there for decades. Estimate of RM3.5k backpacking trip could last touring in this island for about 2 weeks and it is even worth along with the promotion of Air Asia flight :P

Bah! Another dream list :(

3.Nikon D5000

It is always pain in the ass when the moment you saw something you liked, you are unable to immortalize it. This is when a good DSLR plays in the role into capturing good pictures for eternity. Besides, device worth of RM2800 isn't display for show where it has the ability to function manually or automatically. Hence, it is very suitable for newbie, like me.

Bah! Next!

4. Sony Ericsson Satio

Picture says a thousand words. This glamorous RM1800 touch screen phone is seductive enough to attract buyers. The current phone of mine starting to give me problem where a phone isn't functioning much as a phone. It is hibernating more than he awakes. Definitely a good replacement.

Bah! Fancy too much is not good for health.

5. Phuket

This seems like an ideal choice where Air Asia currently having a promotion as low as RM59 per 2 ways flight. Hence, the overall budget would be around RM300 per person for 3 days 2 nights. With such an astonishing captivating beaches to hang on along with the lucrative low price of trip, anyone has already tempted to it?

This isn't too heavy for you guys right?

6. Tenji buffet

Having a Japanese buffet as low as RM50 per person is one of the best deal you can get in town. Moreover, offer for as long as 3 hours plus you can dine in that restaurant is already maximum damage to you stomach.

Come on, I need a break man!

Day 4 at Hong Kong

Most of us are totally out on the 4th day, exhausted either mentally or physically. And the most unlucky thing that we had on that day is our breakfast. We \randomly entered some well decorated wantan mee shop and ordered.

This bowl of wantan mee is totally screwed up and can't be compared to the ones that we had during our 1st night in Hong Kong. It is terribad! Moral of the story: check before you enter any restaurant to avoid disappointment.

We walked along the streets and started to shop. No wonder people been saying Hong Kong is a paradise to all women but worst nightmare for all men. Seriously, no matter how much they (women) spent, it always end up insufficient!

Look how bored they can be?

Personally, we did bought some cheap clothes as well. :P Believe it, this long sleeve cotton T-shirt just cost about $HK55.

We went into this "thong sui" house to try on some sweeties. I am not a fan any of these hence, it is not fair for me to comment on it. But 1 thing I am sure of is that, this bowl of "xxx" is pretty silky smooth blended. Worth a try.

After the break, we did continue to hunt for more things. It branded things sold here compared to Malaysia are always cheaper.

Gong Cha - this is what they called. Falling in love with it. It really tasted awesome! If not mistaken, it is green tea mixed with some kind of cream. You can find it HERE

Nothing much to brag in the fourth day because most of the time we spent on shopping and waited for our flight. Had the pork version of McD and it tasted, pork? Well, Hong Kong is really an easy destination to explore due to its well linked transportation. Overall trip for me is about RM1500 included flight however, for girls I think they would need about RM2000 for their shopping spree (cheap cosmetic and facial stuff).

So what are you guys waiting for?

Seremban crab

On a usual day, it is hardly to find any hard shell dishes in a meal. This is due to the life style of a poor student has to endure living outside alone. Having the chance of tasting non-fresh shrimps are already something consider luxury enough.

Once the labyrinth of a crystal clear river and sea that connect the east and west during the great empire of Sultanate Melaka has turned into something worse than a coffee mix. Hence, fresh seafood is not an option in this polluted area of Malacca.

Hence, the urge of having nice meal of seafood especially crab leads me venturing into the town of Seremban searching for this famous restaurant. I have heard from many and it has proven its worth by featuring in "Ho Chiak" as well.

Special gravy from the restaurant. It is a little sweet with the creamy tasted.

Sambal squid which I wondered where all the spicy taste gone.

In-house special taufu. Smooth like a silk. It freaking tender and soft as though it going to melt when inserted into the mouth. Not bad!

This is the main course - grilled crab. Serious huge and succulent crab meat to try on. The freshness is heavenly awesome.

This is somewhere that served good quality of crabs despite the "high class" of money you have to fork out for such fine meal.

Day 3 at Hong Kong

We had our breakfast continuously 2 days at the same old coffee shop at Wan Zhai because some of the members did not manage to try to the best polo bun around town on the 1st try. After that we headed the same area to find for the famous Tai Cheong egg tart.

It was freshly baked and we would witness the watery egg slowly to harden. The crust was so cheesy good and its egg is well balanced. Among all other egg tart I eaten here, this is the one I preferred the most. $HK7 per piece is worth for every bite. Another must try item!

The streets in Hong Kong would never lack of any living being during the broad light. It is so crowded even for every little small alley. Wondering around town while some of them preying for potential cheap goodies.

And maybe this is what the guys are looking for. What a luscious sight.

This is famous Victoria Park where the grand canon would be firing every noonday for charity. I never expect gun shot would be so explosive loud. The aftermath of big bang had my ear ringing for few minutes. Splendid experience.

The empire of Time Square expanded to Hong Kong as well. The structure is much alike in Malaysia however the shop lots that selling goods were godlike high class. Something that we could not even dream about.

But still, all of us managed to loot some shoes and bags. Of course, those mega sales shoes and bags. Quarter of our expenditure budgets are already being poured during this shopping trip. Goodness. Shopping does always feel good at 1st but bad afterward.

Lunch time and this is the restaurant you have to remember well.

This Tai Hing restaurant is seriously serving great food with the price of $HK38 per plate of rice + soup. Every different roasted meat I have tasted, and each of them are marvelously roasted. The skin is crunchy, the meat is tender, the sauce is evenly mixed and the soup the non-agimoto tasted. What more can you ask for?

I starting to miss all those best food in Hong Kong already!!!!

We walked and walked, traveling from a place to another till reached the Science Centre of Hong Kong. It must be the work of the nerds planning from the beginning to visit such places.

After 3 hours spent in the centre, we headed to Tsim Sha Tsui to catch a night show.

It the Hong Kong Avenue of Stars that we are heading. We couldn't find any hand print of Andy Low but Jacky Chan served just right. The light and sound shown is nothing spectacular for my opinion, but it is just a must go landmark. Moreover, it is really astonishing night view to enjoy along with the natural sea breeze.

Temple street is our next destination. It is in between Mong Kok and Yau Ma Tei. Our legs already started to give off during that time.

There rows of hawker restaurant in Temple street and most of them are very similar to one and another. Just pouring any luck, we sat on any available shop to give it a try.

Various claypot dishes, so so for me. The fried oyster is kinda horrible and the snail, no one dares to touch it. It has a very strong stench of smell. It just like serving durians for the Japanese. There is certainly good food to be found in Temple street judging the numbers of people there but just not this stall. Not recommended at all.

We walked to Woman street. Just for its name, it is already enough to tell the whole picture of what this street about. Just like Petaling street in Kuala Lumpur, but the price there are bargain-able cheaper!! Of course, donated some money there again. Sigh~~

A super tiring day with a reward of good milk bubble tea ($HK10) is definitely worth it. (Product of Taiwan anyway)

Day 2 at Hong Kong (part 2) - Victoria Peak (Taiping Hill)

Taking a travel guide while exploring the city of Hong Kong, it seems that we are already blended in its society. However, our little secret comes to an end when we having difficulties searching for the station of the electronic tram to Taiping hill, a Hong Kong's police passed by and offered his help. Everything was so deja-wu like we are in a TVB drama where the "ah-sir" standing with his hand lazily resting his left hand on his gun and said this to us :

"Len chai, hui bin r?"
"Dude, where are you heading"

He started explaining with a slow pace of broken Mandarin fusion of Cantonese and when we responded in Cantonese, in instant he blast off the direction with his ultimate Cantonese slang. Thanks to him, we managed to reach the top of Victoria peak in one piece.

Wax house is located on peak of this hill. Before even entering, we are already being greeted by our very own local product celebrity - Michelle Yeoh. For a moment, we felt to be proud being a Malaysian while stand on the soil of a foreign country.

Some people just love harassing those superstar, expressing their loves by taking the opportunity to kiss Japanese pop star - Ayumi Hamasaki.

Some just love peeping on the legendary sex icon - Marilyn Monroe while she is performing her famous up-skirt pose.

Some just can't let those romance slip off by hugging 1 of the 4 heavenly king - Leon Lai during a bicycle ride.

Some just love being in the lime light along with Hong Kong duo - Twins. Although his motive of being with whom is very questionable. The pure or the tainted ones?

However, there are some weird ones who had a different taste bud. By looking at it, definitely you are able to guess what he loved that much.

The only thing that I regretted in the wax house is unable to capture the moment me standing beside with the giant superstar - Andy Lau. We were being informed that his wax statue is undergoing some maintenance. It is so devastating. Andy Lau has always been the hero in my heart for a long long time.

Enteingr the Sky Terrence, assumed to be the peak of the peak of the Taiping Hill where we could enjoy the sun set and the miniature night scene of the Hong Kong city.

The paranomic view of the Hong Kong city is astonishing sightful. Truly, this type of scenic view is only to be found in a highly developed country. There are not words could describe or substitute the beauty of it. Just simply amazing.

In the mist of excitation, I was carelessly left my bag at the Sky Terrence. Luckily this honest officer found it and returned it to me. Grateful for what he did and he did actually changed a little perception of mine toward to rude attitude of the natives there. Thanks again!

Upon returning, our stomach starts complaining and we rushed to Mong Kok to hunt for our dinner. As seen in movies, Mong Kok is one of the red zone in Hong Kong. Good food brings great sacrifice. Just extra careful should be okay.

Fu Ji restaurant from what we known is famous for his porridge however when we got there, we do not sense any porridge in sight. Maybe it is dinner time and it isn't appropriate to have porridge at this hour.

It isn't any surprise anymore where the locals there use the free tea to clean their chopsticks and spoons. Perhaps this is their culture here and we actually followed them. LOL.

The Hong Kong Chinese mustard green is nothing more or less than what we had eaten in Malaysia. So nothing special about it. But the porridge is just fantastic. $HK22 a bowl isn't just for show. It's sweetness of the porridge is well felt and even without those pig organs, it is still zestful. This seriously the best porridge I ever had. Unlike Malaysia, the food there had the preference of quality compared to quantity.

The whole day of walking and climbing is really exhausting. As sweet stuff could provide the energy we needed, we headed back to our place, Fortress Hill to had this desert. It is said to be famous for its mango stuff but for me, sweet stuff do not come 1st in my list. Personal opinion, so so.

Day 2 at Hong Kong (part 1) - Ocean Park

The cozy guesthouse made us reluctant to wake up at early as 7.00am to be prepared for our very 1st journey in Hong Kong. Dressed up and hit on the road heading to Wan Chai to fill our stomach.

We searched for quite some time for this coffee shop located somewhere deep inside Wan Chai area. It is nothing to be surprise on looking on the crowd queuing to pack for their breakfast due to the kopitiams in Hong Kong are small and packed. It is always wise to pack rather than looking for empty seats because most likely it would be fruitless attempt.

There are certain regulations that I have learned you have to obey when patronizing a coffee shop in Hong Kong.

- Walk in and look for your own seat and do not expect to be served.
- If there are not seats available, then just sit anywhere which is vacant. If you are lucky, you might ended up having breakfast with a hot chicks, but I doubt there is any.
- Do not expect the menu to be given because usually they had in all on the wall for you to look at.
- Be quick on deciding on ordering food because the waiter isn't hired to wait.
- Never ever ask the waiter to introduce on nice food because they will feel offended. Serious!
- Get used to rude and bad services!

This polo bun is indulging heavenly on the first bite. The top crust is crispy while tender of the bun remains inside. It is even more delightful where the bun comes along with a piece of ham and a layer of thick butter. Freaking best! Meanwhile, the milk tea is one of the best I have tasted. Interestingly, its chilled milk tea is ice-less and chilled in a chiller to remain its thickness and smoothness of its milk tea. You would never find this in Malaysia. However, the taste of their egg tart is kinda disappointing. But, overall this shop is a must to go when one travel to Hong Kong!

We moved on next to Central to catch our double-decker bus to Ocean Park.

Just like Genting theme park, Ocean Park located on a hill top itself but it is in a sunny type version where the sun is soaring up high. The entrance itself already cost us $HK250 and the good thing about it is everything is absolutely free to play and try on.

This is 1 of the 2 things that you can't find in any usual theme park - fluffy cute little panda named An An. This is my 1st time witnessing a real alive panda eating in front of me. Seriously, panda are always those super adorable and playful kind of creature to me.

The theme park is spit to 2 section and we had our free cable car ride. It's a shaky petrifying experience and for my personal opinion, it is way longer and higher than in Genting. And the best part about it is the marvelous glimpse of view hanging in the cable car beside the sea side of the hilltop. Enjoy!

Well, we also had over chance to observe some of the rarest creature that only survive deep inside of the ocean for free as well. The whole theme park is crowded and it is not even yet the peak season.

What makes this theme park special is that it has a totally free (again) dolphin show which attracted this many tourists. It is so sad that visitors did not given a chance to be close to those dolphins. Hails those dolphins!!

We enjoyed ourselves to the max on the facilities that have been provided in the theme. Tired and exhausted, we took the bus ride back to Admiralty and walked to Central looking for food to replenish our energy for the other half of the day.

Yung Kei restaurant is where we heading for its most renown roast goose, probably best in Hong Kong. For more than 60 years, they worked from a hawker stall way up to a prize winning 5 star restaurant. So do not expect hawker pricing meal.

I have never tasted a goose and if you ever put a goose and a duck meat for me, I don't think I could differentiate it anyway. So I have now tasted the best roast goose in Hong Kong and to do some comparison, some day I would like to try on the goose that sold in Jalan Pasar at a price of RM68 (half roast goose)

Nevertheless, the roast goose is superb due to its juicy and tender meat to chew. The sauce is the secret to the tangy aroma which perfected it. The hokien fried rice is awesome at its own way. It's dim sum plate is so so where it is over priced. Everything is overpriced anyway. This luscious lunch caused us about $HK100 each. Pain in the arse.

After that high class meal, we do not even have enough money to take on public transport to the next location. In stead, we wondering around town to the next location. Hong Kong really packed with skyscrapers, even on a sunny day, there wouldn't make any differences because everything is cloudy behind the shades below those gigantic tall building.

Day 1 at Hong Kong

Despite many have been greatly criticizing on how low class services Air Asia have provided to his customers, but the truth is that Air Asia really makes the possibilities for everyone to fly without much restriction. It's low price rate ticket surely comes with great sacrifices of services and efficiency, so do not fret about it.

I have been longing for this trip since purchasing it a year ago with zero fare rate saving me lots of money to spend just for transportation itself. I have not much grumble for this 4 hours journey however to my believes, 5 hours is the maximum I could endure into such tiny seat. It is already 8.30 at night on arrival of this little island - Hong Kong

We rushed to have ourselves a set of Octopus card which used for their MTR lines in Hong Kong. Specially design for tourist package and it just cost us $HK300 with the refundable of $HK50. Of course, it really worth every penny forking for this as it has unlimited access to its line for 3 days. Ironically, the 1st word I spoke at Hong Kong to the receptionist of this counter is English. =="

Compared to KL, MTR in Hong Kong is well established and well advanced. Every station is located underground and it is huge and comfortably clean. The labyrinth of this express train is well spread to every corner of the island including moving freely underwater across the ocean. It makes traveling around Hong Kong easily accessible.

Here we are, staying in Fortress Hill. Just some walking distance to this MTR station.

To our surprise, this guesthouse that we checked in is really unexpected classy compared to the money we paid. With only HK100+ perday we are able to get such beautiful designed and clean room. As acknowledged, staying in Hong Kong is really damaging to our pocket as its land is limited, hence it is extremely expensive. Seriously, do save up your money by staying in this guesthouse if you are heading there. (Email me for details)

Starving for not having dinner, we heading to nearest place to search for our food - Tin Hau. Well, being in Hong Kong but not able to try on their authentic Wan Tan noodle will make you regret for this trip.

It comes with preferable 2 combination of food which a price of $HK16. Most of it comes with soup based and its noodle has a very different texture than in Malaysia. Its noodle is hard but spongy to be chewed because it is not over boiled. The beef and its soup is awesomely tasty but what I liked the most is their wantan. It heavenly delicious with such big in size. There are 4 fresh shrimps inside of each wantan that sweetens every bites. Godlike!

When eating this big juicy wantan, it does make feel a little lack of something. Something that usually Malaysian do - dipping the wantan into chili paste or "sambal" . That what Malaysian a Malaysian! Spicy stuff are hardly to come by at Hong Kong.

The night view of the streets are non differ from what we have seen in the TVB's drama. The old tall apartment, building with small restaurants, rows of air cons, the taxi and the familiar faces of Hongkies who always had those dull look on their face (muka stim).

Attended a surprise party for one of my buddy's gf not very long ago. Everything were self made except for the Oreo cheese cake from Secret Recipe. These pictures were the very 1st pioneer shot by my new toy and the effects seem lack of "wow" factor. Blame it on the noob owner.

During the event, the was a super smart soon-to-be engineer where he loved almost all those electrical gadgets. So, my this little toy was not exceptional spared. He took it and started analyzing on how it works and performed. Half way, he was interrupted and being shown of how this camera works taking a burst shot which involved multiple shots in a second. He pondered and asking how to set of this mode to function.

In the end, he followed the instruction and imagine that, he is holding this tiny camera and yelled "multiple, multiple, multiple!!" We burst into laughter rather the got the burst shot. So called engineer wo. I did not know I had bought something this advance.

Next year, sadly I doubt I would be attending this lots type of party after graduating.

Nadeje Patisserie Cafe, Mille Crepe

I have been very choosy when it comes to cake. Rather to say other than cheese or ice cream cake, I hardly touch on any slice of cake unless it is very awesomely trigger my sensation for sweet food.

Here is this, the one and the only cake that make me remember vividly on how it tasted a year ago when I had my virgin bite on it. However, on my recent visits to Nadeje Patisserie Cafe, Mille Crepe in Dataran Merdeka, it felt somehow it degraded from their standard touch. But still, it still has it wow factor. I am not a pro food critic therefore there I could felt its significant differences from what I had a year ago and now. After some research, I came to an acknowledgment that the original creator of this crepe had some issues with his partner and decided to call it off and went to Johor to start of his new adventure.

This crepe is actually consist of a lot layer of "pancake" and cream. When inserted into the mouth, the soft texture melts slowing and the tingling sensation of pure cheese of addiction came up. For those cheesy type of person, it would be an instant hit or if not the other wise. Personal double thumb up choice is its original and tiramisu crepe. Words could not describe as much as the feeling of eating something that wonderful. 1 word, irresistible.

Best served during tea time along with some chill or hot coffee. Although it caused RM7.50 per piece however, it is a worth to try on. At lease something different and better than Secret Recipe for my point of view.

I dare say 8 out of 10 "non-halal" tourists came to Malacca, one of the top 5 food itinerary I reckon they patron would be satay celup. During these years, it has became so famous to became a must try food list. It is similar that when you are in Muar, you definitely have to search for their Muar's otak-otak.

Well, basically there are 2 considered edible satay celup restaurant - Capitol satay celup restaurant and Ban Lee Hiang satay celup. For my personal experience, I would prefer to dine into this Capitol satay celup restaurant although it is more expensive (RM0.70/per stick).

It is so packed during the weekends where tourists are flocking in and willing to queue up to more than an hour just to get a table. This place has a better service and hygiene compare to the Ban Lee Hiang restaurant. However, for locals here, 70cents per stick is over priced but those who have not taste it yet should at least go for a shot.

Consuming this per stick food dipping into the satay sauce with lots of blended peanuts to boil it over isn't everyone taste bud. It's either you love it very much or you don't feel anything special at all. I have friends from KL who would take all the trouble driving 1 and a half hour just to dine here and back KL afterward. The number of people willing to queue speaks for its reputation himself.

For me, it tasted good especially its fresh big shrimps. The texture of the melt is tender and makes wonders to masticate. It does has varieties to choose on depending on your liking but the prawns are always contribute the most sticks I had. Had a try on the squid as well.

One thing special about this shop is that, the more and longer you eat, they will give out some incentive where bigger prawns and scallops to be served on at the same rate. At least, this is an psychology effect that keeps its customer happy despite paying for such costly food.

Hing Long's Taiwan mee

One must feel odd when I introduced one of the food to be tried on happened to be a bowl of Taiwan mee. Of the information I have gathered, the owner of this restaurant learned the recipe of making the Taiwan mee when he is studying in Taiwan in his younger days. This shop located somewhere in Bachang and it isn't that difficult to find as they have big logos of the restaurant's signiture. I can't recall the 4 types of Taiwan mee served here however we ordered the usual Taiwan beef noodle and pork ribs noodle.

This is the bowl of Taiwan beef noodle and if you have noticed, the mee used is something similar to pan mee but must softer. The sauce of the mee isn't tasted that we usually had beef noodle in Petaling street area. It's mild and watery flavored mee. On the other part, the beef texture is not the best I have seen, however it's good enough.

I have yet to have a bite on this bowl of pork ribs Taiwan noodle however those who ate claimed it superb. As seen above, it is already made a salivary attempt to lure me going for a second try for this bowl of mee.

This redish bowl of beef soup is what makes this restaurant special. It brewed with the beef essence and other material which made it thick enough to go into the hyper stage. In short, it tasted brilliant where you don't feel the heavy smell of a beef when you sip on it. It is going to be a clear cut ahead what I have tasted in Petaling Street.

During the start of holiday, I have been busying bring friends touring and having a food hunt around Malacca. In conjunction to this, I am going to introduce some of the must have food when you are in this historical city. As a native here, I have the responsibility to protect the pride of the city as it is on the verge of being overshadowed by the likes of Penang and Ipoh whom the people there thought they are the only folks that served the best food in Malaysia.

Malacca is well fame for it nyonya culture and it's unique nyonya food which has slightly different from the taste of Penang's nyonya. Tan's nyonya food store is also known as Donald & Lily Corner which serve different taste bud of nyonya food.

This nyonya style of Mee Rebus is appetizing as it wouldn't be so sourly or too spicy. I wouldn't dare to say it is the best but it is good enough to satisfy ones' urge for a delicious bowl of Mee Rebus.

This plate of Mee Siam is drier than you usually find in other places. Those who loved nyonya food should be craving for this plate of bee hoon.

I believe there are better tasted Rojak could be found in other places. This plate just don't meet up the expectation.

The main attraction of this food store is it's scrumptious bowl of Cendol. The ice pieces would melt just like an ice cream once insert into the mouth. The addition of Gula Melaka made it uniquely tasted and not overly sweet. Anyone who tried this would savor till the last drop of it. Best Cendol in town!!

Semester ended and not soon after, it going to be my final year and final semester for my university's life. Yet, for so long, I still could grasp any chances of future lies beheaded of me.

Of many roads not taken, which is the most suitable for me adopt in? I really doubt my capability into the engineering field where I find it rather infancy over the daily routine of an engineer. After my internship in an prominent manufacturing company, I found the job is rather static and meaningless. Once, a senior told me that, the company used money to buy over our youth and time. I found this rather true, however, after looking on my supervisor dedication to his work, I guess there are still silver ray of hope of excitement in the stressful engineering life.

I am so confused. I am the guy that usually think in advance of anything either a problem or a decision to be made. No harshly decisions and the pros and cons are always in mind. This is the only thing that drained me so much energy and time but failed to materialize the path under my paws.

One may argue why I chose to enroll into this field but what done is done. It is a long story and there is no one to be blamed except myself. The only things that needed to be amend is the future. I do not wish to be someone that half-pass cook and regret for the final stage of my life.

Strangely, after almost a quarter decade of living, I still can't find any of my stronger point. Sadly, I have witnessed most of my friends exploiting their and firmly standby sailing comfortably into the society.

I am missing in action a such a long period without realizing how much time had slipped by. Exam period is always the main culprit and causing me mental and physically disorder. I have not given any choice but to remain stress and pushing on my studies everyday. Exams never were a good thing to begin with and hopefully with the mighty power of God, He would blessed me to pass on this semester smoothly.

Nevertheless, I am free at the moment. Every burden have been released off my shoulder. Holiday holiday holiday!!

I had a unexpected nice treat from you guy earlier a day from my actual big day. It is very brief, however I have to thank you all for heart that you all poured to spend some of your extra pocket money to treat me. (kaevin, kokpin, smith, kienloong, chiaohan, yeeyong and jeremy)

The only extraordinary incident happened during that big day is whereby I am getting more attention than usual. There are lots comments on facebook which I couldn't even accumulate it in a year time. Moreover, there are some unknown friendly friends wished me as well. How I wish my birthday is everyday. lol. Anyhow, thanks for all the wishes.

Life as usual except that I am still kicking alive after recovered days from illness. Practically, I have been sleeping more than 10 hours a day for this week and hopefully, I am able to concentrate on this coming exam. Wish me luck and yourselves too if you had any.

First and foremost, I would like to thanks those who have not forsaken my blog after such a period I did not update it. Shame on those who actually does forgotten about this site. Just joking~

I have been never that busy since, I forgotten. Moreover, I been hampered kinda heavy illness past few days where I virtually did not except for sleeping and eating. Others close to me ran off to their respective hometown (who know who I meant) after learning that I might have caught up into this AH1N1 influenza. If I really does, I going to hug anyone I met all along till the hospital. It seem the aftermath of heavy flu + high fever + headache, the cough and sore throat can't seem to be separated from them. I am starting to feel those 2 of the best friends right now.

Besides, my main point is I finally completed a 30 pages of final year project's progressive report. Ask me write a story of 30 pages isn't going to crack my head on this 30 pages full of technical writing material. I been sitting on the computer staring at those information till going to puke. Luckily there is a loyal book has been able to actually revitalize my scoping mood - Facebook. I even do not possess the time on reading other friends' blog, moreover don't even think of updating this blog itself.

Without realizing it is already September. Exams are approaching and somehow deep inside I have a good feeling for September.

Korea restaurant at Korean Village, Ampang

I have been longing for a real Korean cuisine for a decade. Finally, I am able to get a real taste of it in one of the Korean restaurant in Korean Village, Ampang. As I have acknowledged, this Korean village is really filled with those from "The Land of Morning Calm". We could barely see any Malaysian near that area itself. Moreover, the Korean restaurants are growing like mushroom where there are a lot to choose from. This is really confusing and put us in dilemma. However, asking opinion from those who frequent this place, we decided to ignore every possibilities and rushed in this restaurant without a second thought.

We were totally clueless about what been served inside, the services and the price range before we even stepped in. There is no surprised as we saw there were few tables are all packed with human which speaking the alien's language like we usually heard in Korean dramas. All the slang ended with "yoooee" as we suspected so. There, even the lady boss is a Korean as well. Luckily we were leaded by a foreign worker which understood English, or when the worst case approached, the only Korean word I knew is "Sarangheyo" which later on he would assumed that we four were have a gay gathering there.

Opened up the menu, we were surprised, more likely to be ambushed by the price. Flipping pages by pages, nothing comes below RM18 per serving. To our nightmare, after a long time of thinking and discussion, we still can't decide any to order and that is the time where the waiter spoke and recommended a set of 4 for us. Much relieved looking at the price at just RM60 with mouth watering pictures of what we going to have later, we order another dishes without any further thinking as well.

This bowl of rice definitely not a local product as its texture tasted more like Japanese "Gohan". aka rice. It is very fulfilling although it looked tiny.

This steam egg is the set from the extra set of dish we ordered and it does leave a good feeling as an appetizer for our later meal.

Dining in a actually Korean restaurant really feels great as we were treated like a king surrounded by its "side-dishes of the round table". A freaking 11 side-dishes and they all tasted wonders. Especially the Kimchi (fermented cabbage) which leave me drooling till now.

This is the extra dish that we ordered - stew minced mix beef with kimchi. It is well recommended by KienLoong and ChiaoHan (the sinful kuanyin's godson). It tasted thick beef based soup with little spicy. Beef lovers shouldn't have missed it.

This stew kimchi minced beef mixed with seafood with 4 serving is just mesmerizing. The soup based is mild with the sweetness from beef, prawns and other seafood is irresistible. It is even been with my own recipe - adding the refillable side-dish kimchi.

In the end, we overkill our stomach with the food served. The 4 person stew set adding with the side-dishes were totally enough and the addition of that beef based stew really over did it. The services there is marvelous because the workers there are nice and importantly, they provided us free green tea. Maybe they saw us consuming too much of spicy food.

The total bill came in about Rm100 and it is really worth every penny that we forked out for this scrumptious meal. Next time I hope I would like to try its barbecue Korean food there. It would be another total new thing to me.

I felt like light years since my last update. Assignment + reports = double damage to me. Not even have the sufficient time to rest. Well, guess tonight I going to hibernate till my battery full charged.

Thinking back, I suppose to enjoying my arse in Penang Island right now. Slurping some Ice Kacang, having myself indulging the aroma of Penang Laksa and munching away the lovable yummy baby octopus. All these beautiful dreams have been wrecked by one assignment. And the funny thing is that after completed on the final few hours, some other 2 groups had took it to refer it. Shocking thing is that, they have not even started it yet.

Anyhow, it's all over. I could start to breath a little for some moment.

Each day when I surfed on the Star newspaper, besides the updates of the politician that has been suspected of being murdered, the another cease to emerge as the hot item in the front page is the rising death cases of Influenza H1N1 in Malaysia. Schools by schools and universities by universities have been closed down as an prevention due to suspected outbreak among students. Thankfully, this area isn't being affected after such long period.

However, ironically as the numbering of death toll rises each day, Malaysians still could remain such care free. In fact, this pandemic does not even instill any fear into us. It could clearly be seen that during the recent PC fair, thousands people still flocking in to join the heat. Of course this including myself. :P It seem to me, I utterly forget the existence of this threat in the crowded area. People are still bear in mind that the chances of striking a lottery isn't that easy.

We still believed that we are staying under our sanctuary where the barrier of protection still strongly intact to control the spreading of that virus. We are not taking serious the measure to prevent this virus from spreading any further. We take this for granted until we ourselves witness the horror of this pandemic or experience the quarantine, we will only start to panic.

Speaking of this, it's so funny that whenever someone is caught with symptoms like flu, cough, fever and etc, they would start telling people that they might infected with this H1N1. But, how many person would take that seriously?

So, have to fulfill your role in this prevention of outbreak? Or you are still wondering, what is H1N1?

Anti- cab on rally

It is just the beginning of August and there are much to catch up. There is a rally in KL which protest the ISA (Internal Security Act) which happened on the very 1st of August. To us student as we are the neutral pack, it doesn't much affect to us whether is this ISA will be abolished or remained in our country. However, if one day you joined the politician realm, there is a definite second thought of it.

As for me now, I am much concerned about the tax fair hike rise which will eventually cost my tough life of a student even deepen in trouble. Money is not enough always the issues that been fogging in my mind whether to spend on food, gadgets or even trips. There are always a lot of temptation of choices but there is only one decision to be made. How I wish I could born into those "Papa rich" family which enable me to spend flawlessly without guilt.

However, the bitter truth is, I am not one of them. Now the taxi trying to ruin my life by charging extra extra fee from us student in Melati. From the past, where the usual rates still applies, they are already trying all mean to squeeze the money from our deep pocket. Now, when the government announced the rise of cab's charge, I could smell the evil laugh from their face. Even before August, they are already discussing on the extra fee to charge on us people here and been happily spreading this wondrous news to every fellow student.

Screw that! From now onwards, I going to ban ban ban you all taxi services any possible that I could. I made vow to wake up early (God, please wake me on time!) to take on our university's shutter bus to school. And I encourage and well for any TAR college's students do not try to give in better that is obvious they are charging extra here. The more they localize themselves here, the even more daring they are. So, why don't you guys support your own shutter bus services instead?

So, you have to make this clear that, it is not we can't live without the cab however, it is the cab can't live without us. So, why pay more for such short distance? Why pay more for such lousy services? Why pay more when they are so bloody arrogant and rude to us? Why pay more when whatever they do, they just to do with their own beneficial without thinking of us?

The unique baby octopus satisfy eaters' urge, the ever dying for mouth watering crab porridge and the spicy sweet specially and only from Nibong Tebang.

Ampang Look Out Point birthday celebration

It's been a rush decision to drove up hill to celebrate ones' birthday when there is a test going on the next morning. However, this couldn't shaken our bond and hinder us from marking yet another memorial day for him. Although it's not a bomb like the last year 21st birthday for him, however this should be a satisfactory for him.

Ulu Langat Look Out Point is located at Ampang and it's famously for the locals visit. But it seems that I am the only "sua ku" that has only 1st stepped in for the 3 years time in KL. It's so embarrass and shameful to even start mesmerize on this place. We went to this western food shop which provided a good service yet affordable food price.

On Wednesday itself there are tons of people there went for dinner and most likely they are celebrating birthdays as well. As we were consuming our food, lights kept turned off in between of 5 to 10 minutes period where birthday cakes kept pouring out one table to another. This Look Out Point should soon be changed as "Look Out Point for Birthdays"

As usual, after our meal, it's Mr. K chance to experience the disco lighting in that restaurant before the cake being brought out.

"How could our friendship being tested by a minute test like like that?" Ironically the next day, everyone been busy looking around during the mid term for answers. LOL

Housemates' woes

It's been about 3 years since I shifted in this house and I have been witnessed quite a number of ex-housemates in and out. Well, we blended well and do not have any harsh feeling among each other except few that been very passive and hardly seen them stepping out of their comfort zone. After all these years, finally I felt the torment of having a new inconsiderate and irrational housemate living under one roof.

When this couple 1st came in, they cramped their chocolates(ss), a lot a lot of chocolates into the fridge which occupied most of the space there. The worst thing is when there isn't any more place in the small freezer for their ice cream, they just simply chuck one of the item in the freezer into the fridge. Luckily we manage to notice it and finished it off in time, if not that food will not be edible. They are so sucking selfish! Ironically, they are buying tons of branded chocolates and ice cream however I been smelling maggie mee each time I step out of the room. Moreover, it is like they really cant live without chocolate and ice cream everyday!

Then, this is the real part that really pissed us off. When we 1st noticed the internet connection down and suspected some outsider using it. We changed the password of the wireless connection to 128 bits which require 15 hex code because we thought someone hacked it. However, in few days time, the guy appears. We were really clueless and started to suspect the couple using the lan cable to log into the router to gain the wireless's password. Bear in mind that they have applied not to use the internet when they 1st shifted in. Hence, we changed the password and added in password for the router again. Hacking is not a simple task but few days later there are 2 new users connected to the internet again. We were really furious not because they hacked in but they invaded our room to use our computer to find out the wireless password.

Really disgracing! They are so bloody stingy yet so desperate for internet usage. Why the hell not paying extra rm15 each every month to get a full usage with honor rather than stealing the line? Importantly, they are working fresh graduate. There are no excuses as no money as they stock in their chocolates and ice cream with nobody business. When we blocked them, yet they still trying to find loop holes and every possible mean ways to log into the internet? How pathetic and lowly they can be.

We are still giving them a chance and they are still think we are still treating us like a fool. If they are still insist of doing all these cheap tactics to their benefits, they definitely will gain our wrath confrontation.

How headache it can be to have this type of housemates!

Community Service Society's farewell party

Without any time conscious, I have involved in this community service society for about 2 year plus. When I came across it during my year 1, I only recognize a few familiar faces in the society. Somehow, I have forgotten how I managed to get involved in it. As I am getting older, it seems that it has been blended into my university's life as I gave in most of my time into it. Eventually, it's time for me to enjoy my last year as a student before I am facing the harsh world outside.

It's good working with you as you are those "bao ka liao" leader to me, Ruth. LOL. Anyhow, I enjoyed it. Thanks.

Outskirt of Nibong Tebal

I have not been into myself these few weeks. Things are not sailing smooth lately. I maybe a little superstitious and paranoid however, this is how I felt. I need a place to calm, to think and to analyze things bit by bit but detailed. This place that I thought of might chill me down.

The serenity and harmony of this place could make any worried minds indulge and blend into the peace of nature. Well, this place is the outskirt of Nibong Tebang where I don't think many would come across of it. There is nothing there besides some sea view, monkeys, eagles, baby crabs and some lovely cow's dung in the middle of the small path.

This is the smile that I missed. I don't think I could able to jaw-drop broadly in the city life. Although I am still studying and yet to be exposed to the outside world, somehow there are already the effects on it during the campus life. Everyone isn't that naive just like the teen years where everything is done straight forwardly. I miss those days where we are having fun cycling around our housing area.

I would like to preserve the motiveless and rational side of me however in this vicious society, no one would ever survive without any agenda in mind. It's only a fiction where the hero like anime which portrayed selfless, nakama's spirit, innocence and trust. Only in fairy land, there are such human exist. You may argue but ask yourself, when is the last time you being betrayed? back stabbed? If you don't have any experience on it, it is not you have not encounter of it but simply, you have not noticed it.

I understood well when the negative aura surrounding us, the white would just turned into black.
So spare me while reading this. Look at those pictures to deionized all the negative thought that electrocute your mind.

I virtually placed myself into the world where I can enjoy the sea breeze; the cool weather where the thick pure cloud block the sun from penetrating directly into the inner layer of earth; the synchronous wave sound hitting the rock and shore; the little smart crabs which I could direct my anger and stress with huge rocks. Yes, I am violent. Humans are violent. Accept it.

Nevertheless, I finally achieved the status as a ranting's blogger. Sometimes it's better to rant here rather to complain it to someone. Because I need not any further explanation. I am perfectly fine and healthy. So anyone willingly to be my baby crab?

Sau Seng Lum's Charity Sales

As you know, I have those "kind" blood inside me. Hence, when Mr. Smith invited us to join him to do a little work of charity, I couldn't resist it. On the weekend, we woke up in the wee morning as early as 5 am and headed to this so called "Sau Seng Lum" in Puchong. I think this is some kind of Buddhist based religion organization giving out the extra hands nothing much differing than I attended for those Christian events.

We reached upon the so called centre and I was amazed how mass is it actually. It so huge that we can even seen it from afar. Walking into it and it's exterior and interior designs are so magnificent that it required thousands of fund to actually construct those. It makes me ponder where do actually their income and I was told it was donated by those rich around the city.

Skip on that, we actually came here to work as a wisher for the centre. The people that actually wearing the uniform which been provided is so significant that it's impossible to get know everyone of them. There were few hundreds of them working like a bee and it's totally free of charge.

Actually, this event is an charity sales organized by the centre and till now I still have not being told of the whereabouts of the sales profit. It's like a mega sales going on and we have to greet those visitors that came in. It's kinda funny because this place is like a sacred holy place where we being told to clap and welcome them. Come to think of that, it's so inappropriate. Furthermore, I felt it's so commercialize where there were a lot of tourist buses from other states which they hope they do their spending here.

This kinda job is so unexpected easy to us. Most of us thought that we came here to do all the dirty jobs such like carrying, cleaning and etc. In the end, we chatted more than we doing of works. Met a few friends there as well.

Nevertheless, it's still an experience to venture into.

FES's festival - season 2

A year had passed. Time really flies. This would be the 2nd time the student representative organized a festival for fellow students. You still could catch up my 1st entry HERE. As usual, I am still at the service for community service society aka css. However, I am now official retired from the main board and passed down the burden to the young blood. A bright one indeed who took up the challenge as a year 1 freshmen to lead the club to a different height.

Back to the festival. Festival is always something fun but tiring job. Do not even think of profit because FES do not train future business person here. People here are good in science and maths however failed in their calculation for accounting. In fact, it is a fortunate our booth manage to avoid losses. Bravo for those the person who found sponsor - HL Marigold milk for our event. Big thank to the generous Marigold as well.

Students from FES that been there during the festival who do not try on our booth is really a loss to them. LOL. We had our special hand made delicious cupcakes by Ruth and special Marigold Chocolate Cadbury ice blended by (erhem*) me and irresistible french fries by KL. Based on the pictures below, you are able to judge the quality of each item already. LOL.

Blind Robot

After watching Transformer 2 years back, it inspired me into some robot making fantasy. Somehow, I think this disease spread even further than I have imagined. Out of a sudden, there is a club called Robotic Society appeared out of nowhere in UTAR and tempted students into joining a competition called blind robot with a grand prize of RM1000.

"My friend, RM1000 le, who don't want to join?"

Hence, few of us course mates and 2 other juniors took part and prepared from the last semester, building the robot from the point into something else. It looks a bit weird and low level structure however please compromise with it.

Of course, we didn't win it. If not, I wouldn't have written out the grand prize of RM1000 of it at the 1st place.

"You know la. Win liao sure people spamming here asking for money."

Anyhow, the competition exposed us a lot of new things. It's a waste we did not win anything due to some last minute technical problem happened in our robot. Great experience we had!

ps : Robotic society will soon be a strong society due to some backdoor and relationship aid by superior side of utar. In other clubs point of view, it is fair?

Daidomon Japanese BBQ Restaurant

While this Japanese BBQ style restaurant still having a great deal (50% off), a few friends and I decided to explore this new experience for BBQ. It still worth having either lunch or dinner here because of its promotion.

This restaurant which located at Great Eastern Mall - Ampang does a good job into their decoration sets and each of their deco are in a surprising price tag. If you are happen to be there, do remember to check on it.

The environment makes us even hungrier when stepped in and without hesitation, we all hunted for all the upper class food provided here.

Overall, it's satisfactory where we can bake, bbq and having a little buffet there. In the meantime, talking crap would life up our appetite. However, during the peak hour, the servicing isn't that efficient anymore because the every serving for the bbq set have to be ordered manually from the waiter and even the sashimi set too. Hence, ordering and reordering would made us feel "sien". Quality wise of the food is good and the promotion does makes the stomach feel better.

ps: now I realized, there is a "ffk" king in our groups which the in last moment he will lavish us which tons of "asscuses". Wondered, who is he?

Marigold Beauty Contest

I bet many that have been followed up my post on the Penang trip must be waiting long for this entry. We might be considered lucky to have this opportunity to witness this beauty contest just not very long of the arrival at Gurney Plaza. This give me the impression that, Penang has been so developed in the sense to be compared to KL of having so frequent in beauty contest going on there. The other factor might be the condense of Chinese populated in Penang. It is because I think Malay are forbidden to join any beauty contest due the bikini wear and showing off their alluring body is totally unacceptable in Islam.

There are nothing much to brag about this and while you might be charmed by staring on all these photos, do not forget to wipe of your saliva on your keyboard after drooling over it. There are ample of it, so do enjoy.

On this occasion, we have spotted on a guy which so damn weird of his action. He was so damn excite and high looking at all those barbie doll looking girls. Dressing to kill which virtually has stimulated his hormone and he was in too ecstasy to manage himself. Clapping around and his expression is like he is already drooled from the beginning till the end. When the emcee asked the crowd of their favorite, he without hesitance yelling the number of the model that he liked. Staring and smiling on her in those perverted face. The model was too shock yet unable to react but to smile to the crowd. You should be there towatch it. It's so damn entertaining.

ADV : Pantai Keracut aka Kerachut Beach

Throughout the 5 days in Penang, eating without exercise is a definite no no. Hence, Mr. K proposed that we having a "little" hike on this famous Kerachut Hill. As I am a person that very fond to the nature, without a second thought I nodded with delight. Furthermore, it would be an bless to burn the extra calories that gained by taking 9 freaking meals a day.

We started our journey about 3 pm when the blazing sun is soaring high up. Unexpectedly, while entering the woods, it was cooling under the shady trees. Excitedly, we walked and walked.

After walking a certain distance, we have to climb a few hundreds stairs up hill. Henry and I were like ==" for the endless stairs while Mr K still intact emotionless hiking ahead of us. This is what we like during the half time break and started question the "little" hike of his from Mr K's mouth.

During the whole journey, we were all drained and the worst part is we did not bring enough water supply for this expedition. Mr. K still showing off that he remained calm for his everlasting stamina. Finally, again, finally we reached Kerachut Beach!

Exhausted, we paced our steps into the sandy beach. We are enjoying the every moment of the sea wave flushed our feet. Although it is still tiring walking on the thick sand, however marking ourselves into such a sight is already sufficient to compensate everything.

Kerachut Beach is isolated from the other part of the world where it became the national park of Penang and sanctuary for the natural habitat to reside on it such like eagles and turtles. This place is still virtually unscathed from the outside pollution. I am still able to enjoy

War Museum - Penang

This recent opened museum could be something new for even some of the Penangites. There are much to be ventured because this place is kinda vast to be explored. Some of the relics of the previous World War 2 had been well retained and taken care of.

They have renovated and designed well the path ways for the tourists to visit and explore each of every section of this fort. So there is no worries of getting lost during the walk. There were a few bunkers for an eye opener and you could really feel the hardship during the war times.

They retained the emergency path way in the shelter to be extremely dark so that we have to use our guts crossing it without any help of light. Of course it was a total darkness which you couldn't even see your fingers that are just a few millimeters in front of you. Light emitted from the handphone doesn't help much either. It really fun and thrilling for the experiences.

This is another optional task whereby it require us to climb up the underground "holes" without any safety measurement. It makes us not only have to use our eyes to watch but also needed us to climb and crawl all the way.

Extorted in Pudu Raya

I am going share this tiny horror of mine so that it would serve the purposes as a reminder for those who are frequently traveling using the bus services in Pudu Raya.

Saturday seems to be the day where everyone rushing back to their respective hometown regardless races and gender. So, definitely it would be packed with people and most of the time we couldn't obtain the time of the bus that we desired.

It was 2.30pm when I reached there along with my bro however I only managed to buy us 4.00 bus ticket for our journey back home. We are drained while waiting to catch on our bus. In the mean time, we noticed 2 empty seats facing each other back and decided to give it a go. When I hopped on it, there was this about the late 40's squeezed in and without any suspicious act of his, I gave in. He seated, looking at me and smiled with his hand readily to shack my hand as an gratitude. Naive me just give it a go without 2nd thought.

Man : Hi, where are you heading.

Me : Malacca.

Man : What are you working as?

Me : Studying?

Man : Oh? At which college?

Me : Utar. (Sensing something amiss however his hand is holding me back)

Man : Oh, Rahman college eh. So, I am a gangster from Petaling Street and I have 3 brothers just involved in a fight. They need 3 tickets to escape to Singapore. 3 tickets is about RM120 with RM40 each.

Me : Oh. (Shit!)

Man : I understand you are a student. I also student before ma. Haven earn then need to spend. But you see. I am a gangster...blah blah blah (repeating).

Me : Oh.

Man : I am not here to rob you. As you see. I am a gangster...blah blah blah (repeating).

Me : Oh.

Man : So, we need your help to sponsor a bitla. Like RM10? Deal (took out his hand readily to shack my hand to agree with him)

Me : I no money. As you say I am a student ma. No money.

Man : Okay okay. So how much you can give?

Me : (Thinking for some time) RM5.

Man : What? RM 5? at least RM10 la.

Me : No money, student. RM5.

Man : Cannot more than that?

Me : No money. RM5.

Man : (Staring me at a little furious) Okay, fast give money!

Sadly, I have to lose RM5 to this scum. There are tons of humans there and this type of man really dare to do this stunt. Police were lurking around flirting with girls around few meters. Both sides of the seats were some Malays and virtually they don't understand a thing that we conversed. There was a Chinese lady looking at me weirdly. I guess she would have known something is going on however, what can she do besides continue, staring? This bastard extorted me in friendlier way. Luckily, I was able to escape unharmed with a small sum of money.

So, this remind me that don't ever travel there alone and even so, it's better and safer to stick in a group. There are always this fraud happenning in Pudu bus station. Nothing unsual anymore. It's better to be safe than sorry. So should I consider fortunate or unfortunate?

There was another case on the same day itself when me and my bro walking down the terminal to take our bus. After telling the incident happened to me, another man approached us. Again, without sensing anything by thinking this man probably asking for a road directing, he told us he needed money.

According to him, he is just released from Kuantan's jail and showing the bus ticket as a proof that he had traveled through Kuantan till here.
